About JDH ///

JDH had a humble beginning in 1985 in Villisca, Iowa as a farming company leaning on agricultural production. Joe and Galynn Hoye moved from the warmth of Texas to start the hard work of raising a family and running a farm in the rolling hills of Iowa. As dreams and opportunities presented themselves, the family farm started breeding cattle in 1990. The superior marbling breed known as wagyu was introduced into the herd in 1999. Now JDH has cattle in 4 states across the midwest and nearly 3,000 head of cattle used for F1 production. These four states provide the temperate climate that this specific breed finds suitable to create a rich intramuscular marbling and wonderful taste. With wagyu as the flagship for JDH, producing the healthiest and best animal possible for our customers is the ultimate goal.
